European ADRs Fractionally Higher as Health Care Stocks See Mixed Fortunes

Gainers in Continental Europe were led by Cellectis (CLLS), a French genome engineering company, 2.4% higher, followed by DBV Technologies (DBVT), a French clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, up by 1.8% and Grifols (GRFS), a Spanish company engaged in the healthcare sector, also 1.8% higher. Nokia (NOK), a technology investor, was 1.3% higher.

In the UK, low-cost airline Ryanair (RYAAY) and gold miner Randgold Resources (GOLD), were both 1.1% higher, followed by CRH (CRH), a building materials company, up by 0.9% and Unilever (UL), a Dutch consumer goods company, 0.8% higher.

Decliners in Continental Europe were led by Deutsche Bank - Global Registered Shares (DB), down by 2.9% and Edap (EDAP), a French medical devices developer, 1.5% lower and Logitech (LOGI), a Swiss hardware and software products developer, down by 1.1%. Nabriva Therapeutics (NBRV), an Austria-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, was 1.0% lower.

And, in the UK, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) was 1.0% lower, education company Pearson (PSO) was down by 0.7% and Trinity Biotech (TRIB), a manufacturer of medical diagnostic products, was 0.6% lower. BP (BP), an oil and gas production company, was down by 0.5%.
